English idioms: Fed up of waiting. 2 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 3
This is an imaginary story about 2 friends. I've written it to show the usage of several English idioms.

Several years ago, Tom and Ben went to a festival. There was a really good rollercoaster at the festival, but there was a really really long lineup for the ride.
Tom and Ben decided to join the queue anyway. After 30minutes of waiting some people jumped the queue in front of them. Tom lost his cool. He yelled at the people, "What the hell do you think you are doing? Go to the end of the line."
The people looked at him angrily, but they went to the back of the line.

About an hour later, Tom and Ben were still waiting in line. They waited for another half an hour then Tom got fed up. He said, "I've had enough, I'm not waiting anymore."
Ben was also tired of waiting, but he said "I'm going to wait a little longer."
"Ok, Have fun. I'll see you later."

As Tom walked off, some more people pushed in front of Ben.
"Hey! What do you think your doing? The end of the line is that way," Ben pointed behind him.
"Take a chill pill," one guy said.
"Like hell I will, I've waited here for over 3 hours."
The guy didn't move. "That's pretty stupid of you," he said.
Ben was really angry. "That's it," he said. He took a step towards the man, his hands made fists. "I've had it with people like you. Go to the end of the line or else I will make you go to the end of the line."
The man looked nervously at his friend then they both moved to the end of the line.
"You need to chill out man." They said as they walked away.
"You need to learn some manners," Ben said.
Finally Ben got to the front of the line, but then the rollercoaster staff said, "Sorry, that's all for today."
"Give me a break!" Tom said. "I've waited inline for hours!"
"Sorry, but that's all for today."
"Please!" Ben said.
"Hmmm, ok, but this is the last ride for the day."
Ben was over the moon! He got to have his ride! The end.

Thanks for the funny story. It was fun to read this (again). It includes a lot of colorful English idioms/slang. My favorite one is "like hell I will", but how do you use it exactly? I mean I still don't get the hang of it. When someone ask you to do something hard for you to do and you really don't wanna do it, you use this expression?

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it
Your explanation is pretty close. "Like hell I will" is used when someone tells you to do something, but you refuse to do it or someone tells you that you will do something, but you disagree with what they say.

English Example sentences for like hell I will.

Someone Clean the kitchen.
Anthony Like hell I will!!!! (I'm not going to clean the kitchen)

Someone Anthony will probably fall asleep during the exam.
Anthony Like hell I will!!!! (I'm not going to fall asleep in the exam)

This language is strong, so you should be careful of when you use it!
